It seems like everyone in the office went to see The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug this weekend except for me. A Winter flu has seriously crippled my ability to do awesome things like seeing movies and eating solid food. Anyway, the general consensus around these parts is that it was "awesome" and "better than the first". Let us know what did you guys thought in the comments if you would, I'm ever so lonely... Also, I found out that I have been pronouncing Smaug incorrectly (it's not "smog", it's "smaowg"), and all of the Tolkien fans that I know have been silently judging me this whole time. Thanks for not telling me, guys. It's not just rude, it's the nerd equivalent of not telling somebody they have something hanging out of their nose.
In case you weren't aware, we sell countless Hobbit and LOTR items in our collectibles store here. Tons of in stock items as well as some brand new Hobbit: DOS pre-order items from Weta, United Cutlery and more! I'm personally eyeing the Sword Of Thranduil replica, as the katana I use to open my mail broke a couple of weeks ago. Also, I just like saying "Thranduil".
Have a great week!
